OvationTix partners have seen a significant increase in flexible subscription/membership packages. Many of these memberships are hybrid donor/buyer versions of traditional or “choose-your-own” subscriptions, where patrons make an up-front purchase and receive a benefit, such as a ticket discount to be used in that same transaction or on a future purchase.

OvationTix has closely tracked this trend and continues to develop software enhancements which provide our partners with an optimized checkout process for your patrons.

This latest in-cart donation benefit release means that  benefits such as ticket discounts can be displayed in  shopping carts when donors are considering making a gift. This better reflects the value of their donation and allows patrons to make the gift and receive the benefits in one easy transaction. More immediate value and fewer clicks may result in greater revenue. And this tool is also available on the new responsive consumer interface–further optimizing the checkout process for your patrons.

Similar to the example pictured above, say you offer a $100 annual donation level, which provides  your patrons with access to four tickets at a member-exclusive rate of $15 each (a 50% discount off the regular $30 price). When your patron places the $100 donation and $30 tickets in their shopping cart, those tickets will display at the exclusive membership rate of $15 each. If the patron subsequently removes the $100 membership from the cart, the price of the tickets will revert back to the general public price.
